Business Data Analyst
This company is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team on a Remote contract basis The ideal candidate will have experience working with large amounts of data from a data analyst perspective and be comfortable with pivot tables and formulas within Excel. Experience working with data visualization tools and Salesforce CRM is preferred.
Position Overview for Business Analyst
Conduct analyses to support critical Global Brand Operations strategy and initiativesIdentify, prioritize, and report on Brand Integrity themes/risksFulfill requests from business partners related to brand health data and insightsParticipate in ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., leverage data and technology to validate certain elements of hotel Brand Standard compliance at the enterprise level; support the execution and change management of evolving Quality Assurance strategy)Proactive and reactive storytelling with data including understanding performance drivers, providing context for strategic data points and shaping it to each audienceIntermediate to advanced understanding of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, general)Ability to work quickly, multi-task priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy displayed in the final productAbility to work with large data sets
Required Skills For Business Analyst
Two (2) years of professional work experience in a large corporate environmentTwo (2) years of data analysis experience supporting reporting, performance, and/or analytic teamsStrong understanding of Microsoft Excel (e.g., can maintain complex spreadsheets, can perform complex functions) and the ability to draw conclusions from medium to large datasetsExperience conducting research, synthesizing complex data sets and formulating recommendations
