Build web applications with web development best practices Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code Actively Participate in daily scrum meetings Demonstrate features and functions during Sprint Demonstrations Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends Required Qualifications
BS Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or Mathematics required. Master of Science degree preferred. 7 years of relevant experience with application development supporting agile development environments with Java Spring Boot, Node.js, js ,
and MySQL database. Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, and microformats. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus. Experience working with RESTful Web services and developing APIs, CI/CD Pipeline environment to include GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, JIRA, Red Hat LINUX, and Weblogic. Experience with frontend integration for authentication and authorization protocols such as LDAP, SAML 2.0, OAuth, and Single Sign On (SSO). Knowledge of SDLC framework required. Familiarity with 508 compliance testing.
