The Department of Pathology Medical Center is seeking to recruit a full-time dermatopathologist with fellowship training. Candidates with other areas of subspecialty interest, such as head and neck pathology or bone and soft tissue pathology in addition to dermatopathology, will also be considered. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a 631-bed tertiary care major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The position entails dermatopathology sign-out and a role in training fellows, residents and medical students in diagnostic pathology. The successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in research projects and to participate in scientific meetings and post-graduate courses.
Applicants must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree and board certification in Anatomic Pathology, be fellowship trained in dermatopathology (board eligible or board certified), and be qualified to obtain a medical license in Massachusetts. We are seeking an outstanding surgical pathologist who shares our vision of excellence in academic pathology. The academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and academic record.
