Job Description
This position provides the opportunity to be the primary I/T applications support contact for existing systems and an integral participant in a potential SAP Business One implementation. EMSEAL, a Sika Company, is the market and innovation leader in the expansion joint and sealant industry. Its consistent growth has created the need for an I/T Applications Specialist to support its various business applications, design and implement improvements to operating policies, and expand I/T support coverage for the company. The I/T Applications Specialist will report to the Director of Business and Information Technology (based at EMSEAL's headquarters in Westborough, Massachusetts).
Key functions:Support of xTuple ERP system and any associated subsystems, including a major near-term upgradeSupport of Configure One configuration/quoting system and Salesforce CRM systemManage internal sales and financial reporting processesSolve problems, create tools, and train colleaguesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or BusinessBusiness and I/T experience in a manufacturing environment - experience with xTuple ERP is ideal, experience with an ERP system of some kind is necessary - experience with Salesforce and Configure One is a plusDatabase Support experience with relational databases and SQL tools (Postgres experience a plus)Commitment to customer service and direct communication
