System Engineer - IT Infrastructure

What We Need:
We are seeking a System Engineer with experience in IT infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible and be able to centrally manage servers and IT workflows.
The Impact You’ll Make:
As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of our IT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to design, implement, and manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications running on Windows and Linux servers.
What You’ll Do:
Centrally manage a broad fleet of both on-prem and cloud-hosted Windows and Linux servers of varying versions and flavors using IaC tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Provide support to engineering groups in the US, Canada, and China.
Generate tools to streamline and simplify the creation, configuration, and decommission of server assets across NetBrain.
Create and manage processes around backup & restore, patching, logging, & identity and access management.
Generate tools to simplify integration with M365.
You Have…
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
At least 5 years of experience building and managing virtualization infrastructure.
Proficiency in Windows Server/Active Directory, VMWare/Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Entra ID/Azure Active Directory.
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture, IT management, on-premises IT platforms, compute storage networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and a software-defined approach to infrastructure and software deployment
Experience with server vulnerability management and remediation processes.
Experience with public cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Must be able to work at NetBrain Burlington Office for at least 3 days a week.
