QA Analyst

Quality Assurance Analyst IVJob Description:A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement. A normal work day for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program. Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected. 6+ years of experience.Day to Day:Will have some time to spend getting up to speed - learning the app inside and out After that, they'd like this person to become 80-90% independent as soon as possible Working through Jira tickets, testing and bug fixes Eventually moving into feature work where this resource will own testing on each feature end to end Required Skills : -6+ years of experience -Strong manual testing experience, this role is 90% manual testing -Strong API data manipulation and validation experience with Charles Proxy OR Postman -Jira/ticketing experienceContract thru the end of year that will continuously extend 6 months at a time, as long as the candidate is doing well within the role.
