JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, the successful candidate will provide development and support of Coldfusion web applications for a portfolio of Credit Risk and Collections applications. To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized, with strong learning and multi-tasking abilities. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks on agreed schedules.
The selected candidate:Will show drive and interest in learning new systems, applications, technologies and business processesWill complete technical development assignments independently with minimal supervision.Will provide technical and consultative support on complex technical mattersWill troubleshoot and debug existing legacy application software source codeMinimum Qualifications:
Associates/2-year certification (Bachelor's preferred) in a technical field such as Computer Science3+ years in a professional/corporate software development roleAdvanced knowledge of Coldfusion web developmentWorking knowledge of SQL Server and application databasesWorking knowledge of client scripting such as jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSSWorking knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools (GIT, Jenkins, ADO)Working knowledge of application monitoring / logging concepts (Dynatrace, Splunk)Other Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to application architecture concepts such as web server configurations (IIS, Apache), Load Balancing (F5, hot/hot, hot/cold), Java Virtual Machines, Identity and Access Management (SSO/SAML/2FA), SSL Certificates, Java Key StoresWorking knowledge of Java and/or .Net/C# developmentExposure to enterprise scheduling tools / batch job programming such as ZenaExperience working in large, highly regulated corporate environments (Banking / Financials)
