Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process, utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Shift:
Days/Nights
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality images are obtained.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure accurate diagnoses.
Evaluate images for technical quality and perform basic image analysis.
Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed.
Stay informed about advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
CPR/BLS certification.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
Some CT experience preferred.
