We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer who specializes in cloud security, with expertise in AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in network security technologies, particularly Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, as well as proficiency in Citrix Load Balancing. Additionally, automation skills are highly desirable for streamlining and optimizing security processes. As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures for our organization, with a focus on automation.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain network security solutions for cloud-based environments, primarily on AWS and Azure platforms.Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate security processes, such as firewall rule provisioning, log analysis, and incident response.Configure and manage Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls to enforce security policies, monitor network traffic, and prevent unauthorized access.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect secure network solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and recommend remediation strategies.Monitor network traffic and security logs to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.Implement and manage security controls for identity and access management (IAM) within cloud environments.Troubleshoot network security issues and provide timely resolutions, working closely with other IT teams and external vendors if necessary.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in network security, cloud computing, and automation.Identify opportunities for process automation and develop scripts or tools to streamline security operations.Requirements:

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or AWS/Azure certifications are highly desirable.Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, with a focus on cloud security, network infrastructure, and automation.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including security services and architectures.Strong proficiency in Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Citrix Load Balancing technologies and best practices.Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing protocols.Experience with network security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls (WAF), and SIEM solutions.Automation skills, including proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).Ability to assess and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks, conduct security audits, and develop security policies and procedures.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
