FUEL TRANSPORT DRIVER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Fuel Transport Driver Responsibilities:
The Fuel Transport Driver loads, unloads, and delivers petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The Fuel Transport Driver reports directly to the Transport General Manager.
Fuel Transport Driver duties will include but are not limited to:Comply with all federal, state and local laws/regulationsDrive and deliver products to customers during various types of weatherComplete required documentation (bill of lading, driver logs, mileage records, reports, etc.) accuratelyDevelop and maintain a professional and respectful relationship with company, colleagues, and coworkers, and customersCommunicate effectively with dispatch, office personnel, and customersMaintain a clean and professional appearance of the truckExperience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent)Hold a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsAt minimum, two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience logging at least 130,000 milesMust meet insurability standardsMust meet all DOT requirements including Clearinghouse ClearanceWalk up or down steps and have no difficulty with heightsLift up to 75 lbs. from ground to waist heightPreferred Skills:
Tanker experienceHours:
The Fuel Transport Driver works full time. Open Availability is required. Flexible to work various shifts, extra shifts, and/or hours to ensure business needs are met, including the ability to work various a.m. and p.m. schedules nights, weekends and holidays.Salary/Income:
The Fuel Transport Driver is an exempt position and is paid on a per load basis
