Job Purpose:The Senior Salesforce Administrator will own the system administration and ongoing development, deployment, and support of our Salesforce CRM, and Rootstock deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in administering and improving processes, adoption using the Salesforce.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, implementors and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including Production efficiencies, Quality Assurance, Financial Support, Analytics Development, Marketing, and additional core program business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM, ERP, and overall Salesforce platform.
Essential Functions:Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 150+ usersHandle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, security settings, data management, workflows, and other routine tasks.Assist and/or be responsible for Rootstock and CRM deployments.Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the contracted 3rd party implementors.
Skills/Qualifications:Excellent project management skills and a positive attitudeIn-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalitiesDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwardsCreative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skillsMust demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skillsMust demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationAbility to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsAbility to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
Required:
Minimum four years of experience as a Salesforce.com administratorBachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or similar preferredExperience with system implementationsSalesforce.com Admin (ADM201 or ADM211) certifiedSales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Developer certifications preferredProven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoptionStrong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexityStrong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionalityStrong data management abilitiesA documented history of successfully driving projects to completionA demonstrated ability to understand, document, and articulate complex requirementsPrevious experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
Required Skills : Candidates must be somewhat local 1.5 hours at most away from Newport News, VA Hybrid remote/onsite. Candidates must be able come onsite w/o expenses a couple times a month in Newport News, VA Salesforce ADM 201 certification required. Sales Cloud experience required.
