Business/System Analyst

Overview:The Business/ System/Data Analyst is the primary liaison between the business community and technology organization for all project requirements during the analysis phase of a project. He or she is responsible for proactively monitoring the Adenza system and batch and working with business and technology to remediate day-to-day issues.
Contractor's Role:In this role,1) You will use your knowledge of data warehousing and architecture to support Production (implemented in Adenza and ETL) and help automate our data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.2) You will develop and support source-to-target mapping that outlines how to convert data from the source system to the target system.3) You will also collaborate with stakeholders to determine the data requirements that are necessary to support our business processes and outline these requirements through data modeling.4) You will monitor the daily Production batch runs and workflows and be involved in triaging the issue, implementing long term fix.
Experience Level: 1
Qualifications (Must have's):Experience with SQL relational databases and ETL toolsExperience with Adenza (or AxiomSL) is preferred.Experience with Control-M is preferred.Managing and communicating requirements throughout the project life cycleAddress change management issues and assist in test planning.Knowledge of data warehousing and architecture to develop ETL solutions.Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.Develop source-to-target mapping that outlines how to convert data from the source system to the target system.Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the data requirements that are necessary to support our business processes.Outline requirements through data modeling.
Nice to Have:Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)Experience with SQL/relational databasesExperience working with DBMS and ETL tools.Familiarity with Agile approaches to development
Tasks & Responsibilities:Develop and implement ETL solutions, updating the architecture of our databases as necessary.Develop or update SQL queries and scripts.Work with business stakeholders to assist with data modeling or outlining the data requirements to support our business processes.Develop source-to-target mapping, or data transformation instructions that outline how to convert data in the source system to the target system as well as map the data values.Test databases and troubleshoot any issues.
