Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide desktop support to end-users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi. Assist with server administration tasks, such as monitoring performance, applying updates, and managing backups. Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. Document technical issues and solutions for future reference. Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktops, servers, and network devices. Collaborate with other IT team members to support larger IT projects and initiatives. Educate and train end-users on best practices for using technology effectively and securely. Ensure security protocols are followed, including antivirus management and patch updates. Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Assist in the setup and support of audio/visual equipment for meetings and events. Required Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in desktop support, network troubleshooting, and server administration. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. Familiarity with network concepts, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN. Experience with server operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux. Proficiency in using remote desktop tools and ticketing systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, Network, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. Full-time position with occasional after-hours or weekend work as required. On-site role with occasional travel to other company locations. Physical ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
