What Youll Be Doing• Designing and delivering code thats readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, and efficient• Working in an Agile team with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems as part of a team• Thinking from the customers perspective to recommend design improvements• Collaborating with backend teams to design effective and understandable APIs• Following established architecture patterns and suggesting improvements• Implementing new features according to specifications• Participating in code reviews for yourself and others• Investigating and fixing bugs• Building unit and UI tests• Learning and implementing the latest technologies• Mentoring fellow engineers

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of experience as a software engineerExperience with React and NodeJSGreat HTML, CSS, and Javascript skillsCaching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoringSolid understanding of monorepo and responsive designExperience using GitHubUnit testing best practices and patternsCI/CD systems such as TeamCity or JenkinsComfortable working in a distributed team and communicating asynchronouslyCommunicate in spoken and written English

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience • At least 6+ years of US experience as a software engineer • 5+ years of experience with React • 4-5+ years of Node.JS experience and knowledge of Node.JS on the server side • Great HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills • Caching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoring • Solid understanding of monorepo and responsive design • Experience using GitHub • Unit testing best practices and patterns • CI/CD systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins • Comfortable working in a distributed team and communicating asynchronously • Communicate in spoken and written English Background: • Prefer candidates with previous Apex Systems contracting experience • Experience with customer facing applications, prefer e-commerce • Has seen successful developers come from eBay, PayPal, Oracle, etc • Previous Walmart contractors or employees are more than welcomeSelling points for candidate :Project Verification Info :Candidate must be your W2 Employee :NoExclusive to Apex :NoFace to face interview required :NoCandidate must be local :YesCandidate must be authorized to work without sponsorship ::NoInterview times set : :NoType of project :Development/EngineeringMaster Job Title :Dev: OtherBranch Code :Silicon Valley
