Oracle EBS Analyst
Job Summary:
The Senior IT Support Analyst is responsible for supporting our business activities through active work on key projects related to process development, enterprise applications and system integration, acquisition integration, and cotinuous improvement activities. Analysts must display experience with finance business process design and enterprise system implementations and integrations. This individual will immediately play a key role in supporting our Oracle Financials/Essbase and will also work closely with third party support vendors.
Essential Functions:
Apply knowledge and best practices to support users using Oracle e-Business Suite/Oracle Fusion applicationsSupport users in Essbase or OAC Cloud ServicesConfigure applications based on requirements submitted by business owners and best practicesFacilitate and complete testing activitiesTroubleshoot system/ interface issues and coordinate with appropriate support teams to resolve problemsParticipate in projects and provide cross-functional application support coordination on issues and design planning for new initiativesServe as liaison between third party support vendorsManage quarterly upgrades or Oracle Fusion ApplicationTableau, OTBI, SSRS, reportingAdditional Responsibilities:
Work with management to address complex cross-functional business issues and opportunitiesAssist all levels of management in improving processes through reviews, participation and other collaborative effortsDrive recommendations for business process improvementsDeliver high-quality work products on time with minimal directionContribute insightful thought leadership into technology and business processes to enable business teams to meet their objectivesDemonstrate a commitment to acquiring new capabilitiesKnowledge & Skills:
Undergraduate degree required with emphasis in Accounting and/or Management Information Systems or equivalent experienceFive or more years of special projects and enterprise application experience (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, J.D. Edwards, or other top-tier enterprise application) with hands-on implementation and configuration from a functional perspectiveTechnical/Functional experience with the following Oracle Fusion or Oracle EBS R12 or higher modules is desirable but not required:
General LedgerCash ManagementAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableFixed AssetsProject CostingBPM/Workflow Experience
Good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills (oral and written)Experience working with cross-functional business initiatives involving varying levels of the organization, from end users to executive leadership, in developing solution requirements and translating business needs into, technical requirementsMust be self-motivated with an ability to initiate, and follow through on multiple concurrent projects under minimal supervision with high attention to detailStrong technical background and understanding of writing SQL queriesRest API's or Other Oracle API's experience preferredIntermediate skills in current office applications (MS Office, Visio, Project)
