is seeking an

Account Manager Marine Division

for our team in

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

This role will work closely with the producer to service new and existing accounts, maintain Agency retention goals and service standards, keep in touch with clients consistently to solidify agency relationships, and present renewals to clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Establish positive working relationships with customers for account retention.Keep producer and management informed of real or potential problems.Oversee complex service and claim issues.Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills.Work closely with producers to retain accounts.Adhere to established department standards and procedures.Coordinate premium finance accommodations with Accounting and Management.Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.Pursue a program of personal and professional development.Prepare policy orders to the successful carrier, binding and invoicing as appropriate.Check carrier issued policies for accuracy. Inform carrier and client of forthcoming corrections.Review and analyze policies, endorsements, forms, and rates for accuracy, recommending changes or amendments.Initiate endorsements, binders, certificates, invoices, automobile identification cards, and similar items.Maintain account files, overseeing that documents are placed into appropriate sections when not documented via automated database.Order cancellations where requested or required.Assist in clearing omitted items, account differences, and commission differences.Correspond with markets and clients, accompanying producers on visits as requested.Maintain knowledge of approved rates by the respective carriers and be able to explain the rating of any policy.Negotiate with company underwriters.Prepare complete and accurate submissions for remarkets.Prepare and/or modify quotations when required.Control agency billed lists.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

High school diplomaProficient with MS Office Suite2 years of service experience in the insurance industry2-20 state licensePreferredAssociate's or Bachelor's degreeIndustry software experienceWHAT WE OFFER:
