1. Designs and builds relational database models and defines data requirements to meet the business needs.

2. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases.

3. Foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem.

4. Source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy

5. Creates design principles and prepares technical and infrastructure architecture deliverables that meet business requirements and customer needs.

6. Participates in product design recommendations that span the entire infrastructure framework.

7. Develops logical and physical database models. Writes scripts and commands for data manipulation.

8. Plans and conducts database unit and systems tests; monitors results and takes corrective actions. Monitors and resolves database performance, capacity, data integrity, and replication issues.

9. Serve as a central point of access to data across the organization
