Project Overview & Contractor's Role:

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer who is self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies. The individual will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing automated test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating the bug fixes. The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes and the related QA lifecycle and automation methodology.

Qualifications (must haves):•Knowledge in writing automated scripts using scripting languages like SQL, VB Script, Java•Experience in designing and building automated testing framework using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, UFT.•Ability to understand and develop customized testing tool capabilities as needed by Application under test.•Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Domain and at least 5 years of experience in Asset Servicing and 3 years of experience in Custody Accounting and/or BackOffice•Strong Analytical skills to understand complex business logic and calculations.•Experienced in designing automated test scripts and validations for ETL/ELT solutions for multiple parallel processing pipelines.•Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process in distributed environment.•Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases•Good communication skills.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:•Design, Develop, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results.•Conduct activities that ensure that application / system products and projects meet defined quality standards.•As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level•Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult•Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas•Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.•Apply; design and build automated testing capabilities.•Involve in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.•Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.•Senior test Automation Engineer must be able to take on leadership responsibility and influence the direction of automation effort and its schedule and prioritization.•Co-ordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements and shipment schedule.
