Project Scope: Payment Authorizations across all lines of the business as well as 9 different markets - US / Canada / Mexico etc. Walmart + and Rewards platform happen on mainframe as well as new platform - they have to maintain and keep up the need while building the Next Gen system (Java).
Team Size & Breakdown: 8 person team - everyone was been with WMT for 20+ years
All of them are Engineers
C Pay - 2 members writing COBOL on IBM CIKS (connects to E Pay)
Build in early 2000s which supported REST services and converts to E Pay
E Pay - 6 members working on z/OS Sysplex which is written in C One is more focused on testing
Development Methodology: Kanban - sprints didn't work because they have high priority items that come in frequently
