About The Role
Our Financials Tax & Compliance Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager- Tax with proven understanding of
North America Transaction and Withholding taxes
- specifically, United States Sales and Use tax, US-1099 compliance, Canadian taxes, Global Withholding taxes, general principles of VAT, operational accounting and core financial enterprise business applications.

Lead product discovery and delivery to help achieve exceptional product outcomes for our customersDefine and execute the Product roadmap aligned with our overall Financials strategyOwn the functional application design within your domainApply your combined functional and systems knowledge to analyze customer business processes, implementing required localization requirementsCollaborate internally with the engineering and QA teams to transform customer pain points into functional specifications and storyboardingBuild next-generation business applications in a continuous delivery cycle, acting as the voice of the customer and the product management team to ensure product and feature delivery within an Agile environment.Develop presentations, mock-ups, flowcharts, and product demonstrations to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
Basic Qualifications
3 to 5 years’ experience as a large enterprise product manager or Financials system implementation specialist or Indirect Tax Enterprise product specialist or North America Indirect Taxes SMEBachelors or Masters degree or equivalent work experience
Other QualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience in North America Indirect Taxes and 1099 or similar regulatory compliance as a SME or directly collaboration with software tax development teams in this functional area.Enterprise system configuration, administration, integration or implementation experienceCPA or CMA desirable but not requiredPassion for building better user friendly enterprise financial applications that enable users to spend less time consolidating data across different systems without sacrificing functionality and complianceLearning agility, detail oriented, decisive, and comfortable with ambiguity.Initiative taker, early adopter, technology enthusiastProactive communicator and collaboratorAbility to influence without direct authority
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
