ResponsibilitiesDevelops product strategy for North America and executes initiatives and projects to maximize market share and profitabilityManages customer segmentation, product portfolio, launch excellence, competitive positioning, voice of the customer, and pricing strategyDesigns, launches, and monitors service portfolio strategy to improve customer experience and support sales growthManages existing products through structured product life cycle management, supports the downstream launch planning and execution of flagship products, and recommends changes, improvements, or deletions in assigned productsTracks and manages key performance metrics for the assigned category, i.e. revenue, profitability, product launch performance, campaign performance, etcCreates and delivers product knowledge and training both internally & externally, coordinates with Marketing on consistent brand messagingProvides inputs to annual brand plan for KaVo in North AmericaSupports Sales, Marketing, and Materials team in generating sales forecastsDrives the voice of the customer processes for assigned product areas for new product development, product enhancements and creates impactful product positioning based on customer segmentation to maximize customer retentionLiaises with global Product Management organization, R&D and Operations teams at the company headquarters in Biberach, Germany on key initiatives, serving as the voice for North America businessReviews complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product or productsCoordinates with marketing managers, strategic accounts and corporate account manager(s) to create symbiotic campaigns to maximize sales of the entire KaVo portfolioWorks closely with legal and regulatory compliance to effectively navigate the internal and external environment to achieve desired results in accordance with established quality standardsIdentifies improvement opportunities through Problem Solving Process; develops and launches countermeasures when necessaryPerforms such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be requiredQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a related field5+ years of relevant product management and/or project management experience3+ years of demonstrated success within the dental industryPrior experience presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicSolid oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate and influence a cross-functional team
