$1,000 Sign-On bonus opportunity - Paid after two (2) months of perfect attendance.
Once you are a member of the United Steelworkers you will be eligible for a $150 monthly attendance bonus and a $25 a month safety bonus.
$18.17 per hour base rate. 3 on, 2 off, 2 on and 3 off work schedule (
work fourteen (14) days a month
and No forced overtime).
7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM Shifts. Overtime is paid after forty (40) hours in the week at time and one half. Earn an additional $.55 per hour on the 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM schedule.
Eligible for benefits after thirty (30) days and you will be represented by the United Steelworkers after thirty (30) days
and be eligible for an Associate Degree with at a reduced cost via the USW.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT-
Various Automatic Decorating machines, hand truck, lift tables, labeling machines, shrink wrap machines, epoxy production unit, hoppers, tape machines, conveyors, staple machines, banding equipment and similar or equivalent machines or equipment required.
GAUGES AND TOOLS-
Straddle and ring gauges, carton opener, metal plates, height gauges, stencil brush, glue applicator, ring knife, strapping, fixtures, hand knives, hand tapers and similar or equivalent tools.
PRODUCTS OR MATERIALS-
Cartons, trays, finished or semi finished ware, pallets labels, accessories, load tickets, cullet, packaging materials and similar or equivalent products and materials.
QUALITY REQUIREMENTS-
Select, inspect and gauge ware in accordance with established quality requirements. Palletize product in accordance with operating procedure. Pack product with regards to packing specifications. Verify that all product entering and exiting the department complies with Bill of Material requirements, pallet diagram specifications and load ticket information.
Select ware, inspect for defects, gauge and nest as required.Handle, pack, assemble and stage all products and materials as required.Seal/label/palletize products and materials in compliance with operating procedures.Operate or attend machines and equipment as required.Assist in job changes as required.Break down cullet as required.Service department as required, using material handling equipment.Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area.Do other work as assigned by supervision.
