The Task Force Market Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth in specific market segments and achieving or surpassing market share targets for designated hotel properties. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with exceptional communication and customer relations skills, as well as a strong business acumen. Having experience with multiple brands is highly advantageous for achieving maximum success in this role. Frequent domestic travel is a requirement accounting for approximately 75% to 85% of working hours, within the assigned hotel(s). The primary objective of this position is to provide sales support to hotels with vacant or understaffed sales positions.The Task Force Market Sales Director will work closely with General Managers, Regional Teams, and supporting leadership to meet sales objectives and revenue targets. Furthermore, this role will collaborate with the VP of Sales and the Regional Sales team on projects aimed at enhancing the sales efforts of Peachtree Group Hospitality Management.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Account Management Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and execute sales initiatives aimed at optimizing the hotel's market share across Corporate Negotiated, Group, and, when needed, Extended Stay segments.Foster and nurture relationships with key clients through direct interactions, whether at their place of business, corporate gatherings, entertainment events, virtual meetings, or within the hotel premises.Play an active role in negotiating and ensuring the successful completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs), leveraging strong connections with the global sales team of our brand.Conduct outbound sales calls to cultivate leads and generate new business opportunities.Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of all sales activities and bookings using the designated sales management system within the assigned hotel(s).Collaborate with the operations departments to ensure seamless service delivery to our accounts.

Strategy and Planning

Analyze market projections, industry reports, and relevant statistics (e.g., STR, Demand 360, Kalibri) to identify potential sales opportunities for the hotel.Collaborate closely with General Managers and Revenue Managers to formulate pricing strategies tailored to Corporate Negotiated, Group, and Extended Stay requests.Partner with the Regional Sales Director to assess and address training needs within the sales team, actively contributing to their professional growth and development in alignment with revenue and market share objectives.Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, craft quarterly sales action plans, and generate any necessary reports and communications as required.Maintain a consistent track record of meeting or surpassing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity targets, as specified by your immediate supervisor.

Operational/Functional

Lead the coordination and supervision of all sales-related hotel operations, encompassing site inspections, tours, interactions with VIP guests, and in-hotel marketing events.Offer guidance to General Managers in conducting site inspections and sales calls when the task force is not available.Act as the hotel's representative at community and market events, fostering connections within the broader community, and align efforts with the General Manager.Ensure meticulous detailing and contracting of sales agreements, meticulously documenting all vital aspects of solicitation and finalization.Craft and deliver both formal and informal sales proposals to potential clients, whether in the field, at the hotel, or via telephone.Adhere to the established company processes, procedures, and expectations for the assigned hotels.Provide prompt and precise submissions of the requisite reports and data requests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales-related role.Preferred: Experience in Multi-Unit/Area operations.Ideal: Previous experience with multiple brands.Demonstrated track record of success in direct sales and new business development.Ability to travel to assigned hotels, clients, and related business events; this is an inherent requirement of the position.Willingness to engage in significant travel, including overnight stays, with a minimum of 11 consecutive days on the road, when necessary, occasionally extending up to 85% of working hours.Commitment to a rotating travel schedule and on-site presence, with a minimum of 11 days per assignment (e.g., Monday through the following Thursday or Friday); typically, travel will encompass three weeks on-site and one week remote.Familiarity with systems, technologies, research, and distribution channels related to sales, with proficiency in tools such as Delphi, Meeting Broker, Cvent, Bid Clerk, and ZoomInfo preferred.Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
