Established practice with 6 experienced gastroenterologists and 1 Nurse Practitioner, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Opportunity for academic appointment with East Carolina Universitys Brody School of Medicine, allowing for professional development and involvement in education. Procedures encompassing bread and butter GI cases, providing a varied and intellectually stimulating practice. Large referral network including over 110 physicians' practices and 9 owned hospitals, ensuring a broad patient base. State-of-the-art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post-procedure bays, equipped with modern facilities for optimal patient care. Ability to teach and be supported by the Gastroenterology Fellowship program, including 6 Fellows and residents, fostering mentorship and knowledge exchange. Fellows take first call, distributing responsibilities and allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care. Inpatient support provided by an experienced hospitalist program; GI service is a consult service, allowing focused care. Full motility study program, contributing to a comprehensive gastroenterology service.
