Job Summary:
Product Director is responsible for the product planning, inventory monitoring, component status auditing, and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: promotion, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, purchasing, CM, vendors, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Director's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Define the product strategy and roadmap• Control and manage product development process for time to market• Deliver products with prioritized features and corresponding justification• Work with external third parties or vendors to assess partnerships and business opportunities• Monitor key component and inventory status to ensure production output• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples• Be an expert with respect to the competition• Act as a leader within the company• Product promotionQualifications:
• Bachelor or Master degree• Minimum of 15+ years’ experience as a Director or Sr. Product/Project Manager role• 7+ years of experience in a job in the IT industry market• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Forecast review, inventory control, and key component monitor experience• Excellent teamwork skills• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority• Must be able to travel 20% of the timeSalary Range
$220,000 - $250,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.EEO Statement
