Position Title: Associate I Sanitation Position Location: Mauldin, SC
Position Summary: Maintain all sanitation standards established by the campus.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick up debris, empty trash cans, remove spills in a prompt manner, dust racks, doors, lights, etc. Sweep and mop slots, clean restrooms, break-rooms and offices in assigned areas. Clean sanitation equipment, which includes sanitation boxes and mops Record all damaged product on a damage control sheet. Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to help ensure the safety, proper sanitation and efficiency of the distribution center Maintain equipment daily; topping off fluids, cleaning out brushes and washing equipment Record and report all damaged product properly Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs Ensure compliance with company standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity. Understanding of Food Safety handling techniques, practices and expectations for the work environment. Basic Requirements:
Education
High School Education Certified on a powered industrial equipment where applicable Experience
Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills Reach, stoop, bend and lift up to and including 20-30 lbs. Use a sweeper/scrubber Operate a center rider jack Use a mop and broom to clean warehouses and restrooms Stand for long periods of time Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks) Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties Highly motivated, self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple task in a fast-paced environment
