This person will report to the BI Warehouse & Applications Manager and is the primary point of contact for supporting the company’s Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence system. Additionally, the BI Warehouse Developer will be responsible for implementing new ETL Workflows, integrating operational systems into the BI infrastructure, enhancing current ETL Workflows, and supporting the creation of Business Intelligence dashboards/reports.Responsibilities
The BI Warehouse Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the Data Warehouse and surrounding ETL architecture.Design and build ETL workflows to integrate data into the Data Warehouse from multiple data sources and manage data accuracy, quality, and integrity.Manage key department business intelligence applications and data warehouse acting as the technical liaison for data warehouse / business intelligence issues.Provide technical and design expertise in the development of new and tuning of existing databases and ETL workflows.Work closely with business stakeholders and report developers to further enhance the data warehouse / business intelligence environments to meet operational objectives.Collaboratively support other IT team members to help design, develop and implement business intelligence applications.Responsible for data warehouse / business intelligence quality testing, stakeholder approval and user acceptance testing, following a release plan to deploy databases, packages, and stored procedures to production servers.Manage database and business intelligence application security and user logins.Must maintain strict quality control over data and information delivery in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.Experience with SQL server and ETL systems such as SSIS required.At least 3-5 years of hands-on Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence experience required.Familiar with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007/2010.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Attention to detail.Ability to provide support over the phone or in person while always maintaining a professional demeanor.Additional Preferred Skills
Knowledge of CloverETL a plus.Experience/exposure to SSAS a plus.Knowledge of Salesforce or NetSuite is a PLUS.Knowledge of IBM Cognos, Framework Manager and Transformer a plus.Certifications are a PLUS.
