Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Neurology Opportunity

St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates seeks to recruit an experienced full-time Advanced Practitioner to join our St. Peters Neurology inpatient team. St. Peters Hospital is a 400-bed community hospital in Albany, New York. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Neurology team at a Primary Stroke Center.
About the Program:
St. Peters Neurology offers comprehensive care for neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, back pain, brain tumors, dementia, neuropathies, and movement disorders, delivered through our inpatient and outpatient programs. St. Peters is a New York State designated Primary Stroke Center and is nationally recognized for outstanding stroke care.
Position Details:
- The Neurology APP will work directly with our neurologists in conducting both initial and follow-up neurology consults.
- The APP is also responsible, under the supervision of the attending physician, for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment throughout the patients hospital course.
- The APP has inpatient responsibilities and no outpatient or clinic patients.
- Monday- Friday position; No overnight or weekend call is required.
Requirements:
Applicants should have the following:
- NYS licensure
- DEA required
- Board Certification
- At least one year of previous inpatient experience is required.
- Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Competitive salary including starting bonus
- Compensation is between $123,238 and $133,097
- The posted salary reflects the starting rand of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
