Rochester Regional Health Division of Chemical Dependency is seeking a Part-Time Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Outpatient Addiction Medicine team. Our outpatient services provide comprehensive care for patients dealing with various substance use disorders, offering Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services, MAT-only, and Ambulatory withdrawal management services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments for patients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients in our outpatient program.
  • Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Naltrexone, and other ancillary medications.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses and therapists to achieve patient treatment goals.
  • Provide physician input and leadership in one of our outpatient clinics in Monroe County.
  • Ensure care is provided in accordance with the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted License to Practice Medicine (MD/DO) in the State of New York.
  • DEA license.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Addiction Medicine by ABPM is preferred.
