Join a team thats Changing Whats Possible - The Medical University of South Carolinas Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively recruiting for a General Psychiatrist to provide services at our MUSC Orangeburg location.
This opportunity will be in an ambulatory clinic joining an established practice with one psychologist and a licensed professional counselor and includes being a core faculty member of our Psychiatry Residency Program in Orangeburg.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Training from an accredited Psychiatry Program
- Board Certification / Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Previous experience in teaching residents/medical students preferred, but not required.
Our opportunity:
- 8am - 5pm Monday-Thursday; Friday 8am - 1pm
- Ambulatory Clinic Space near hospital
- No Call
- Some consults during clinic hours
- Will be a core faculty member in Psychiatry Residency Program
- Providers have the opportunity to live outside the greater Orangeburg area and commute to work
The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSCs Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Charleston and will receive access to the divisions resources, as well as clinical support from the Charleston team.
