Group is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to replace a retiring partner. An independent practice of 3 radiologists practicing in a 143-bed community hospital affiliated. They have a great relationship with the hospital, other medical staff, and community.

The position is for a true generalist position.

The group does a wide variety of cases including MR, CT, US, NM, mammography, and PET/CT. They also perform non-vascular interventional procedures. This group is patient and provider centric with lots of opportunity for interaction with your colleagues and patients. This position is for a partnership track working the same schedule as the partners from day one.

Call will average 1:3 with every third week off (17 weeks a year).

This group has overnight teleradiology and the ability to take call from home after hours. Small town benefits with access to big city life. County is a rural county nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains but located within an hour of several exciting cities including Charlotte, Asheville, and Greenville SC. Several nice lakes including Lake Lure and Lake James are close by. Great opportunity for outdoor activities. Get away to the beach for a weekend. Head to the mountains for adventure. The community is growing thanks to the newly built Tryon Equestrian Center nearby. The optimal candidate is focused on providing excellent interpretations with recognition that we are a service based specialty and desire to be involved in elevating the care of our patients in the hospital and community.
