Delivers Gastroenterology medical services to patients of the employer through the diagnosis, treatment, and prevent of diseases, ailments and disabilities in a clinical and hospital setting with no restrictions or limitations

Position Details:

  • Position is based in Muncie, Indiana with travel between local clinics and rural healthcare sites, and the local hospital 
  • Sites are in Hartford City, Portland and Muncie, Indiana
  • No overnights 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
  • Internal Medicine residency 
  • Fellowship training required in Gastroenterology
  • Eligibility for or possession of Indiana medical license

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, the region’s main campus, is both a teaching hospital and regional tertiary referral center. The Edmund F. Ball Medical Education Center offers the largest physician-teaching program in Indiana outside of Indianapolis, with three residency programs. The hospital is affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and serves as an educational site for the first two years of medical school, and provides low-cost medical care for 25,000 patient visits each year.
