We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Regulatory Oversight Management II to join our Corporate Trust (CT) Governance and Controls team. This position is a hybrid work schedule (In office 3 days a week) and can work out of the following offices: Houston, TX - Lake Mary, FL - Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Resides in the business and manages first line of defense risk and control management efforts as they relate to regulatory and policy requirements.Identify, quantify, and monitor operational risks across CT to enable risk-based actions and decision making by CT business leadership.Provide operational risk expertise, consultation, support, and constructive challenge to complex processes.Partner with business areas to conduct operational risk assessments and risk and control self-assessments in accordance with the BNYM Risk Management Framework and Enterprise risk standards.Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and internal controls.Promote a robust risks culture within the division by enhancing the risk knowledge of associates and leaders, and implementing best practices to foster a culture of risk ownership and accountability.Cultivate relationships with other business areas, including risk subject matter experts, to align and assess end-to-end operational risk.Thorough knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations.Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills.Must have the ability to supervise small teams and projects and develop solutions for regulatory oversight management issues.No direct reports: provides technical advice/guidance to less experienced team members.Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Supports complex projects and provides insight on interpretation of regulations.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.4 - 7 years of work experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk, and Project Management or Internal/External Consulting.Must work well independently and in a team environment.Excellent analytical, communication, project management and time management skills.
