Our large financial company is looking for a contract Senior Calypso Business Analyst. This is a fully remote position.
Contract Duration:
5-Months
Required Skills & ExperienceCalypso Experience (Required):
Extensive experience in a Lead Calypso BA capacity, preferable involved in Calypso Upgrade projects as well as migrating from legacy applications to the Calypso platform from initiation to completion.In-depth experience with Fixed Income, Derivatives, Money Markets, Advances, LCs and Equity products in Calypso, including their workings and lifecycle events.Experience implementing Calypso Pricing, Accounting, ERS, Workflows, Reporting, Task Station and Scheduled Task functionality.Experience with Calypso versions 16.1 onwards.Experience with the implementation and support of Calypso Hedge Accounting Module.Experience in implementing the Calypso Collateral Module with multiple integrations in and out of Calypso with other platforms.
Business Analysis Experience (Required):
7+ years of experience in documenting business requirements and translating them into development User Stories.Self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to thoroughly understand existing business processes, system integrations, and dependencies.Ability to quickly grasp business concepts, objectives, and processes to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders.Proficiency in Atlassian tools (particularly JIRA and Confluence) and Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel and Visio).Knowledge of Agile/SAFe software development practices.
Financial Services Experience (Required):
Proficiency in Fixed Income, Derivatives, Advances, LCs and Equity products, with the ability to clearly articulate their workings and lifecycle events.Knowledge of Derivatives Clearing affirmation processes.
What You Will Be DoingDaily Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and document development user stories and acceptance criteria.Leverage extensive Calypso Domain expertise to design and configure tailored Calypso solutions to meet the business needs.Create detailed current and future state solution documentation, including detailed process flow diagrams, to effectively communicate and secure buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with the Calypso Development team to ensure the delivered functionality meets business requirements and delivers value.Collaborate with the Calypso QA team to develop and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and accuracy of developed functionality.Collaborate with Automation Engineers to establish automated regression testing coverage for developed functionality.Actively participate in functional testing to verify that functionality meets business requirements.Provide training, support, and procedural documentation for Calypso business users.
