This role involves working on a port of the Android OS that runs on a server and is streamed to various devices, similar to porting the Google AOSP to a specific phone, tablet, or TV media adapter.
Job Description:
As an Android OS Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and adding new features to the company's Android environment. The ideal candidate will have experience building and modifying the AOSP.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and add new features to the Android OS environmentBuild and modify the AOSP for server-based applicationsStream Android OS to various devices
Desired Experience:
Building and modifying the AOSPLinux kernel device driversDocker container and/or VM environmentsCoding in C++Writing/modifying Android HAL device driversExperience with Android video technologies: Exoplayer, MediaCodec, Widevine, PlayReady
