Job DescriptionResponsible for managing the implementation of our MiTek Software Suite with existing MiTek accounts, new MiTek accounts, or with new startups. This would include performing a Needs Analysis of their existing software. Installing and configuring the MiTek Suite. Training on the use of the MiTek Suite. Communicating with Product Management any issues or software enhancements required. Providing software demonstrations to prospective customers. Having regular meetings between our client and MiTek Sales to communicate how the conversion is proceeding.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Working with sales, the Software Deployment Specialist will be managing and performing the process of converting and/or deploying software at Component Manufacturers, Lumberyards and Framers to the MiTek Software Suite/Sapphire Supply. As an expert with the MiTek Software Suite and Suppliers business needs the conversion process entails the following:Identifying the business processes for sales, estimating, design, production and delivery.Identify current computer hardware needs and recommend appropriate upgrades.Developing a customized system using the MiTek Software Suite incorporating the identified customer processes to meet the customer's needs.Expert at performing material take-offs from a plan set.Deploy the MiTek Software Suite/Supply at the customer.Develop a training program and train the customer in the use of the MiTek Software Suite/SupplyIdentify opportunities the MiTek Software Suite affords the customer for cost savings and greater product sales.Support and develop the customer until the conversion process is complete.Develop expertise presenting the MiTek Software Suite including adapting your presentation to meet the customer's needsQualifications
Associates Degree in building software, commuter information or related field is preferred4+ Years of related experience in the Building Component Industry requiredEquivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basisAble to use Microsoft Office ApplicationsSoft Skills
Problem solving skills to troubleshoot problems or come up with alternate solutions. A clear understanding of the working of a Truss plant and the needs of management.Additional Requirements

Physical DemandsThis role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. This role may need to access areas within the building that are undergoing renovations which may contain jobsite hazards. Occasionally this role will required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
