Job Overview:
As a Haul Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of materials within the mining site, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of material. The ideal candidate will have experience operating large haul trucks, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a dynamic mining environment.
Responsibilities:Safe Operation of Haul Trucks:
Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the mining site.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Material Transportation:
Load, transport, and unload materials according to project specifications and production schedules.Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate material movement.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct pre-shift inspections on haul trucks and report any issues to the maintenance team.Ensure routine maintenance tasks are performed to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of material transported, distances covered, and fuel consumption.Report any incidents or accidents promptly.
Requirements:Proven experience as a Articulating Haul Truck Driver in a mining or heavy equipment environment.MSHA certificate preferred.Knowledge of safe haul truck operation practices.Ability to work in a physically demanding and outdoor environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Benefits:
