Lead Software Engineer Apps & Backend

We are looking for a lead software engineer to join our Koko engineering team who is excited about working on topics in the GenAI and IoT space, interacting with our Voice and sensor enabled hardware-technology. We'd like you to be curious and love the challenge of solving problems. You will be part of a core group that plays a direct role in determining company direction and ultimately the success of the product. The focus of the role is the front-end and backend development of our web/mobile apps as well as the data infrastructure to support our IoT devices.Duties & Responsibilities

This is a technical position and requires hands-on technical workLead a small but dedicated team of web, mobile, backend and infrastructure developersBackend/Frontend and infrastructure planning, strategy and managementBackend/Frontend and infrastructure system architectureHands on contributions to our tech stack in TypeScript, React/Native, Java, Postgres, AWSIn addition you will have the opportunity to learn and work on various parts of our product (embedded device, Gen AI, etc.)Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in either front-end or backend developmentStrong development experience in either React/React Native, native mobile app development, or backend developmentExperience managing effective engineering teams from a technical perspectiveExperience writing production ready code, preferably in a product based companyExcellence at communicating ideas and collaborating in oral and written form with the teamAbout Koko Home
