SUMMARY:
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs one or more warehouse operational functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load, ship and possibly deliver orders containing a variety of products to for/to our customers)Accurately performs product repackaging of orders dailyDemonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skillsResponsible for delivering product to the customers' specifications/agreed arrangement in a safe and courteous manner treating the customer with the utmost respect as a representative of the companyLoad and unload product properly on DGI vehiclesDGI vehicle is clean and tidy by end of business dayTake inventory; document and invoice orders and product movementCount, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and product in support of the order fulfillment and distribution of company goods in the warehouseAssist with supporting and supplying 12 to 14 customers and 26 vending machines as neededOther duties as assignedTarget pay is $20 / HourReports to the Warehouse SupervisorSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED required1+ years' experience preferred but not requiredMust have a valid driver's license with the ability to deliver product to customer sitesDemonstrates effective written/oral communication skills and customer service skillsIndividual must be detail oriented and accurateAbility to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution metrics and standardsSolid math skillsMust be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfactionBasic data entry using ERP systems; MS Office experience a plusMotivated and takes initiativeAbility to work well within a teamProficient in Microsoft office preferredPassionate, Adaptable, Customer Focused and Teamwork orientedStrong sense of urgency and accountabilityEMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY INCLUDES:
