Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.
AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.
Job Summary
Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
* Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam* Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients* Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure* Draw blood and preparation labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing* Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions* Respond to all lab messages and call back requests* Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations* Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure* Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures* Maintain complete and accurate documentation* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Will train on any non-proficient skills
Qualifications
EMT Certificate are preferred, but willing to train the right person!
