We are a group of hemp farms located in Medford, Oregon, focusing on the farming and selling of CBD products. In total, we have 9 different brands that are all looking to expand our presence in a vastly large social media realm. This role is instrumental in the planning, creation, and implementation of a customer-first social media content strategy. The Social Media Specialist collaborates with our marketing team members to develop content and cohesive plans that communicate our brand and elevate our relationship with our customers. This role delivers metrics and ROI through engagement and conversions through all of our social channels.
Serve as the company's social media lead, responsible for strategy and content development across platforms, utilizing multiple sources (from creating content yourself to working with production teams, third-party creators, and influencers).Produce relevant and compelling content on a wide variety of industry-specific topics for distribution on social media channels.Obtain a deep understanding of our customer's needs and services and their role in the industry and modern technology landscape, sufficient to translate complex product details into simple, polished, and engaging content specifically crafted to capture the attention of a technical B2B audience.Independently research and/or gather information from internal and external subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write effective copy across a variety of marketing channels.Your main goal will be assisting and gaining publicity through various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and many moreAs an Independent Brand Ambassador / Social Media Influencer, you will be responsible for developing and executing influencer campaigns to reach the desired target audienceBecome a foundational subject matter expert (SME) on key topics, industries, and technologies you support.You should be developing influencer marketing strategies in collaboration with the Digital Marketing teamUnderstand how to use photographs, and industry-recognized icons, and help develop drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts to increase a reader's understanding and interest.Understand the unique tones of our customers, and develop content with a consistent, cohesive, and on-brand voice across all platforms.Prepare well-structured drafts, self-evaluate your work, and then submit to internal and external stakeholders for input and approval.Spot, plan, and implement right-time engagement opportunities leveraging social listening best practices.Devising insights reports after gathering insights and feedback from social media sitesAdhering to all the guidelines before publishing on social mediaHave a finger on the pulse of today's ever-changing social media landscape and inform internal teams of important changes, shifts and/or opportunities.Oversee monthly and quarterly social media reporting and have an understanding of leveraging data to inform strategies and content.Manage and create video content and on-figure photo sessions for social platforms to leverage engagement.Conduct continuous evaluation of digital space, competitive landscape, and emerging platforms, tools, and technologies to drive enhancements to processes and content.Skills / Experience / Education / Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of social media and content marketing experience.Advanced knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, others as identified)Exceptional ability to develop clear, concise, and eye-catching presentations for a range of audiences and needs.Exceptional communication skills.Must be a self-starter who combines a high level of creativity and energy with strong project management skills.Ability to handle multiple projects and complete tasks quickly and effectively.Ability to identify emerging issues, quickly assess risk, and escalate.Stay on task through a well-kept content schedule, shared with the marketing teamPlease share any social media work you've done in the past when applyingFull time or Part time 30 hours per weekHybrid, but must live locally for meetings and content creationPhysical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
