Position Summary:

River Bank & Trust is looking for a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) that is prepared to make adifference in the lives of our customers, by providing unmatched knowledge and customerservice. This is achieved by uncovering the customer's needs through early discussions,recommending the best mortgage product available, and helping the customer throughout eachstep of the process to get the loan closed in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Interview customers to determine their mortgage needs- Responsible for collecting financial information & evaluating creditworthiness and eligibilityto obtain a mortgage loan- Guide the customer through their options and throughout the process- Prepare and submit mortgage loan applications- Ensure data are in line with national and local financial guidelines- Keep the customer informed throughout each step of the process- Help resolve problems/conflict with applications- Ensure compliance with privacy laws and confidentiality throughout the process- Build and maintain customer relationships, internal referral network, and communityinvolvement

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent- At least (2) years' experience in related or equivalent mortgage banking- Knowledge & understanding of real estate lending criteria, compliance, federal/stateregulations, loan origination and servicing software

Physical Demands:

The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will regularly sit;talk; hear; and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee will occasionally stand; walk;reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specialvision requirements include close, distant, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and theability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The workenvironment and physical demands are those of a standard retail branch setting.
