Job DescriptionMidwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Manager to their team in Houston!
Responsibilities:
Serve as team leaderIdentify Water Resources opportunities and assist with development of expansion planManage project scope, schedule, and budgetLead the development of Hydrologic/Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systemsPrepare Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, analysis/design of municipal Stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure), and design of plans/specificationsPerform QC of stormwater models, reports, and/or designResponsible for local, state, and federal permittingPrepare proposals and participate in client interviewsRepresent company at municipal meetingsRequirements:
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred8+ years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projectsExperience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or ConstructionPE LicenseBasic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation knowledgeExtensive knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics in the Houston areaTechnical writing skillsAbility to travel through Houston area with own transportation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
