Base rate + shift differentialIncentives : $10,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)Tuition Reimbursement
- $3,000 for full time and $1,500 for part timeNurse Residency
offered for all New GraduatesResponsibilities:The Burn and Wound Unit is a 16-bed center with two dedicated operating rooms as well as procedure and treatment rooms for the ongoing care of burns and wounds. The St. Elizabeth Burn Center, is the regions only dedicated burn unit. We are verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Burn Association (ABA).This special designation offers burn patients and the community:specialized care, services, equipment and staff trained to treat the most critical burn injuriesleadership in research, education and preventionresource to area hospitals in their regionhttp://www.chihealthstelizabeth.com/burn-and-wound-care.htmlAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patients individual physician. This will involve, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:Monitoring patients conditions and assessing their needsCollaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsAdministering patients medications and providing treatments according to physicians ordersFostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Qualifications:Job RequirementsWe are looking for a responsible and compassionate Registered Nurse with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. It is also important to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively educate patients and their families on the in-home healthcare process.
