Salary Range:
$47.7200 - $73.3700 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Physical Therapist assesses individual patients' Physical Therapy needs and then establishes and implements a treatment program. This role reviews the medical history, applies screening tests, and meets with the patient and family to determine clinical needs, impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Determines a plan of care to include appropriate interventions, expected intensity, duration of therapy, and recommendations for discharge. Provides education to patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding the purpose of the activity, use of equipment, home exercise, and activity. Performs regular re-examinations, measures outcomes, and seeks feedback from patients, family, and patients' interdisciplinary medical team. Oversees the clinical work of the Physical Therapist Assistant and Rehabilitation Aide. Manages multiple patients at the same time and provides care in multiple clinical settings and locations. Provides services and required documentation timely, accurate, and by professional and regulatory standards. Participates in outside continuing education and incorporates information into practice. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and ExperiencePrevious experience with Microsoft Office and healthcare database systems is preferred.Bilingual or multilingual preferred.Pelvic Health Program : Training/experience in completing internal pelvic floor exams and treatment.License Required
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California, or eligible and applied for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.Certifications Required
