We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. You will use a microscope to verify correct surface-mount technology (SMT) part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering, and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Use microscope to verify correct SMT part placement and orientation Manually align parts before soldering Perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids/insufficient solder, solder shorts/bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components, and any other solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation Read and follow instructions Work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required Sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks Requirements:
Experience with rework and repair on printed circuit cards Ability to identify standard SMT components Basic computer skills and ability to use several Windows-based programs Excellent solder skills Certification to IPC-610 and IPC J-STD-001 (or ability to obtain certification)
