We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our Primary Care team in the Sacramento, California area. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics and hold an active license in the state of California. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, with a focus on serving underserved populations.
Job Details:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in PediatricianActive licensure in the state of California4 or 5-day work week, managing approximately 22-24 patients dailyProvide quality medical care to pediatric patients aged 0-19 years old in the outpatient setting.Conduct thorough physical examinations, make accurate diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate medical treatments.Participate in call coverage, quality assurance activities, and staff meetings.Deliver oral and written health education to patients and families, addressing questions and concerns.Maintain productivity standards while upholding high-quality medical care.Attend continuing education programs to enhance medical skills and fulfill licensing requirements.Experience or interest in working with underserved populationsBenefit from excellent support from Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants, and administrative staffNo in-patient responsibilitiesEnjoy a competitive salary, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits packageWhat You'll Do:
As a Pediatrician, your role involves delivering top-notch medical care in the outpatient setting. This includes conducting physical examinations, making diagnoses, and prescribing appropriate treatments. Your active participation in call coverage, quality assurance activities, and staff meetings is crucial to the team's success.
Experience or interest in working with underserved populations.Proficiency in managing all aspects of pediatric primary care, including acute care, chronic illness management, preventive care, and behavioral health.Familiarity with clinical quality measures such as HRSA core measures, HEDIS, and PCMH.Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and hold oneself and others accountable.Strong clinical decision-making skills and judgment.Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.Ability to pass mandated compliance training and meet regulatory requirements.Experience supervising Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners in pediatrics, in accordance with California regulations.HealthYes Staffing Network Guarantee:
