Merrillville Vascular Center at 100 W. 86th Avenue in Merrillville is seeking a part time Registered Nurse to join our vascular clinical team who understands the needs of our patients and will put care above everything else.
At Merrillville Vascular Center, we perform highly specialized care to End Stage Renal Disease patients and their dialysis access. This center performs outpatient interventional radiologic procedures. We work with AV Fistulas, Grafts, and Central venous catheters, providing multiple procedures such as angioplasty, vessel mapping and thrombectomy.

What You'll Do
Provide ongoing patient information to the physician and clinical team during procedures to deliver vascular access care to the patient including but not limited to cardiac monitoring, Aldrete score, pain statusMonitor patient vitals (HR, BP, O2sat, EKG) during proceduresMaintain radiation safety when C-Arm is in use in the procedure roomCirculate for Surgical CasesAssist in the procedure room preparation, maintain sterile technique in the procedure room; assist with pre and post procedures including assessment of dischargeAssist in recovery room patient care following vascular access procedures and surgical casesMonitor and record use of all medications during proceduresGather patient clinical information prior to procedures including patient assessments and medical historyKeep clear and accurate patient medical recordsComplete post-op follow-up callsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring:
ASN degree from accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferredCurrent RN licenseMinimum 2 years clinical RN experience in critical care, dialysis or O.R. experienceBLS and ACLS certification requiredBasic computer skillsHigh integrity, collaborator with patient service focus and flexibilityDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, yet also function in a highly collaborative, fast paced, team environmentExcellent verbal and written communications skills
