Summary:You will be a part of an automotive program management team for electrical features. You will track design objectives, issues, and risks. You will help manage program impacts and changes. The goal is to launch the vehicle on time, within budget and with quality features that surprise and delight the consumer.What you will be able to do:• Manages functional content, quality, cost, and weight alignment with program objectives• Ensures Engineering Design Reviews and associated work streams are consistent with Program timing• Attends Design Reviews on priority/risk basis as required• Attends and supports milestone reviews and ensures Engineering delivery• Meets regularly with Program Management Leader to review/prioritize program status of functional deliverables and elevate issues• Support the build process for the functional area at all build events leading and managing issue resolution• Support the in-plant End Of Line process for the functional area at all build events managing cross-functional changes and issue resolution (electrical/electronic interactions, software release, in-vehicle communication protocols and diagnostics).• Support the pre-production verification process for the functional area at all build events and Voice of Customer Fleet issue resolution.• Manages key milestone deliverables (cost, investment, weight status and roadmaps) per Product Development process• Attends and represent functional area at weekly Tech Reviews, Sourcing, Planning, etc.• Maintains functional alignment to program assumption content as defined by the program assumption document. Supports program assumption generation through ongoing discussions to include new program content agreed with program management and engineering functions.• Ensure timely updates of required information in bill of materials, engineering release, part library, CAD, weight, quality documents are provided, and Design and Release have signed off for bill of materials accuracy. Works with Program Management to manage Concern Release process after Concern is at Authorized status.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science Degree Engineering Discipline / Mechanical &/or Electrical Preferred.• Familiarity with engineering and design of automotive electrical components, wiring and systems.• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.• Experience with resolving complex issues and effectively communicating to management.• Involved in the support of vehicle launch
