Position Summary:Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians is looking for a full-time physician to join our Ellicott City Maryland based practice. Infectious Disease Associates, a member of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, is a 7 provider ID practice. We provide inpatient consult services at 3 hospitals in Howard County and Baltimore City and have a busy outpatient office. Our physicians are highly engaged in the hospitals we serve, committed to teamwork and leaders in antimicrobial stewardship and hospital epidemiology efforts. We are looking for an individual who wants to deliver the highest level of care with like-minded doctors and nurses and is intrigued by a Granulicatella bacteremia or Q-fever diagnosis, and is comfortable managing HIV or Staph aureus endocarditis.Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Licensure/Certification:Current/valid Board Certification within Infectious DiseaseCurrent/valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of MarylandCurrent/valid unrestricted D.E.A certificate and C.D.S licenseCurrent enrollment/Ability to enroll in the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) to order or refer items or services for Medicare beneficiariesWork Experience:Two (2) years post-residency clinical practice experience with a substantial emphasis in infectious diseasesTwo (2) years post-residency clinical practice experience in the practice of Infectious DiseaseJHM prioritizes the health and well-being of every employee.
